Stove Bright® Chimney & Roof Flashing Paint is a high temperature paint option with exterior durability for finishing exposed pipe above the roof line. This general-purpose, flat-finish, exterior high temperature paint in aerosol maintains color stability and coating integrity at temperatures up to 250°F (121°C). Designed for use on metal flashing, chimney caps or and exterior exposed metal where a flat finish is desired.
Stove Bright® Chimney & Roof Flashing Paint has been used by chimney sweeps and other hearth professionals to paint exterior exposed stove pipe above the roof line for many years. The 6 colors match the 6 most popular roofing material colors, which allows the coating to hide the stove pipe stack in the profile of the roof line.

SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
Surface Prep
Metal surfaces should be clean & free from grease
New galvanized metal requires special preparation (see Resources)
Any painted metal should be lightly scuffed with sandpaper and wiped with Acetone
Be sure surface is clean and dry before applying paint
Application
Apply a light coat of paint
Let dry for 15 minutes
Apply a second coat, applying more paint than the first light coat
Take care to keep the aerosol can moving to avoid drips and runs
A single coat application is possible, but care should be taken to avoid drips and runs.
Allow to cure for 24 hours before heating
