FireSlug® Slash Pile Firestarter
An Alternative Fire Starter

FireSlug® slash burner delivers safer, more controlled ignition as a slash pile fire starter for forestry and land management professionals. It provides reliable performance in challenging field conditions without the unpredictability of liquid fuels.
Dependable Ignition in Tough Burn Conditions
FireSlug® is engineered to provide consistent, controlled ignition when weather and field conditions are working against you.
Using an alcohol-based gelled blivet system, FireSlug® delivers concentrated heat and extended burn duration, making it an effective option for wet piles and other challenging forestry burns.
In an independent field test, FireSlug® was compared with traditional kindling and a propane torch. After the test pile was soaked with a gallon of water, FireSlug® still ignited the pile and sustained the heat needed to burn through the wet material.
FireSlug® has also been tested at the U.S. Forest Service facility in Missoula, Montana, providing another measure of confidence for forestry and land management professionals.
